Spirit of Soho Virtual Tour

The Virtual Soho tour was absolutely amazing. Rosalind engaged with the group over zoom in a way which made me feel as though I had been on the tour not just virtually but in person - without having ever left my chair! It's fantastic to know more about an area of London which I have walked through before but haven't fully appreciated. I will make sure to look up next time I visit soho to spot Rick Buckley's noses, Greek Street's escargot and, of course, St Anne's petticoat bursting with soho's community! "

Spirit of Soho Virtual Tour

"Rosalind Vincent's digital guided tour of Soho opened our eyes to history we knew nothing about. She introduced us to many different places and drew our attention to small details on buildings, we would never otherwise have noticed. She has an easy voice to listen to and made the area come alive with her stories.  We look forward to going to Soho on foot to explore the area for ourselves.  Five stars from us. "

Virtual Tour of Belgravia

Just a little message to say how much we enjoyed the virtual visit to Belgravia.  We are desperate to get back to exploring London, and this amazing tour really showed us just how much there is to appreciate and look out for.  Thank you for all those wonderful insights - we'll be back for more!

 Belgravia Virtual Walk

Dear Rosalind, Thank you for a terrific virtual visit the other night - as you know, I was a little dubious as to how I could enjoy London from a distance, but you really brought things alive and have inspired me (when I can!) to look at London in a new light.  Well done!

Corporate Team Building Event - Virtual Tour of Soho

Rosalind, thank you for giving our company a "virtual tour" of Soho during lockdown.   We are all missing the hustle and bustle of London enormously....You were wonderful the way you kept us thoroughly engaged with your knowledge and insights into the nooks and crannies of an area we thought we knew well!  I will happily recommend you to anyone looking for a chance to learn about London in a fun and entertaining way.

"These unique tours take you to places you would never think of visiting - into public buildings and though narrow alleyways - giving a fascinating angle of the area. Our guide brought to life the architectural, cultural and social history with engaging stories and memorable anecdotes."

Family Walk around Covent Garden

I booked Rosalind to take our group (three mums and our teenage children) for a tour of Covent Garden. I was so impressed with the depth of her knowledge and her ability to make the sites relevant to all ages. Along the way, we went to places and saw things, that I, as a born and bred Londoner with an interest in history, had never discovered before. My daughter and my friends' children were absolutely fascinated by Rosalind’s stories and spoke about it for several days afterwards. In conclusion, Rosalind is a really good guide that I would heartily recommend as she provided a rich and lively few hours of entertainment.

Dear Rosalind, we are asked by friends what was a highlight of our stay in London. Always at the top is our visit to the hatshop!  Learning how streets and parks get their names, and other lovely strolls are right up there as well.

Many thanks for your company. It was such an experience to be shown around so knowledgeably.

Loved the tour around Covent Garden with all the theatrical stories, Rosalind was so knowledgeable - I thought I knew this area quite well but we explored so may nooks and crannies I didn't know existed.

I look forward to taking another tour so I can delve in to another area of London - a great way to spend 90 minutes with friends.

Definitely a lovely thing to do in our beautiful capital city, both entertaining and informative.

"The St James’s walk was thoroughly enjoyable. Rosalind kept us most entertained and fully informed showing us all the intrigues, nooks and crannies of St James'. She cleverly crafted the walk to include the architecture with it’s famous palace, houses, clubs, libraries, hotels and church, the historical personalities of the day, the shops with their real craftsmen still at work… and tied all these aspects together, bringing the whole history of the area to life in the most engaging manner. I would whole heartedly recommend the walk to anyone, even if you have lived in London your entire life, and to join her in discovering this fascinating part of London.” P.B.

I would like again to say thank you very much to you on my behalf, and on behalf of the team, for the wonderful tour around the NPG yesterday, as well as the quiz.   We have had resoundingly positive feedback today!

In The Shadow of the Abbey

Thank you for taking us on such a fascinating walk.  We learnt so much and you were so engaging with your friendly, enthusiastic style.  Everyone in the group is keen to come back for some more wide-eyed experiences soon.

Marylebone / In the Shadow of the Abbey

I have done 2 of these tours and each time been amazed at how the guide/Rosalind was able to turn a grey winter day into something full of joy and wonder.  Although I have lived in London for many years these tours brought amazing interest to areas I have previously just passed through, ignorant of their previous lives.  Combining stories of great historical importance to fascinating details of daily life the tours are beautifully structured and delivered with a winning mix of wit and gravitas.

SW London

Curious Covent Garden

‘Informative! Creative! This is a walking tour from a proper Londoner! Every sense is aroused as you are lead through the alleys and streets of Covent Garden as she unfurls the history of what was once a gruesome, macabre, filthy and disreputable part of town. The scene she creates is juxtaposed with the current day vision of the shiny Royal Opera House and the bustling traffic-free cobbled Piazza.

Eloquent, historically accurate and amusing; money well spent!

The Joys of St. James's

Thank you for the wonderful guided tour of an area I’ve always taken for granted. You have all the ingredients of a fantastic guide, wit, charm, intelligence.  It was a treat of a morning.

The Joys of St. James's

Having worked in the area for many years I was pretty certain I knew it but oh my goodness, my eyes were opened wide.  Passageways I’d not even noticed before were explored and a fascinating history of the people and places all brought to life by an extremely knowledgeable guide.  Can’t wait to book the next one.

Curious Covent Garden

As a London resident for over 20 years, I discovered a whole new side to Convent Garden as I was expertly guided around by Rosalind who is extremely knowledgeable with many interesting facts to share with the group. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and I look forward to my next walk with her very soon.

Westminster in Portraiture

Thank you for a fascinating tour around this gallery.  You brought all the portraits to life with your animated, engaging style.  A perfect way to spend a miserable winter morning.
