***** Thank you for a fascinating walk In The Shadow of The Abbey . It ticked all the boxes for us ; off the beaten track and full of hidden gems. We loved your engaging style and can't believe we had never been in the area before. We will be back to discover more with you again soon. (Madelaine W. - Central London)
***** Your knowledge of and enthusiasm for the city are so much fun for visitors wanting to fully explore London. Thank you for the most wonderful tour today! We so enjoyed meeting you and had a great time seeing and learning about this amazing city. J. E. - U.S.A.
***** Wide Eyed London walks are insightful, delivering history and ample time to fully appreciate the surrounding. I enjoyed my walk, it was friendly and professional. Balanced with humour and history, I will be using Wide Eyed London again. Bawi - W. London
***** We were all so excited to meet Rosalind for our tour of Covent Garden and the surrounding area. We had booked for a family friendly walk as we have three children aged 5 to 11. We spent a great couple of hours learning all sorts of history about buildings, people, markets, kings and queens and secret mini-police stations. The highlights for us were exploring the narrowest (and smelliest!) of alleyways that interweave this historic area and having an informal tour of the Royal Opera House. We had no idea that so much of it is open to the public – such a great spot for some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. The kids absolutely loved it. Thanks Rosalind, we can’t wait to go on your next walk! - Dan C. - Wales
***** I would definitely recommend Rosalind's walks for old or new Londonners, families or groups of friends or colleagues. We booked two families with six children ...the whole time Rosalind captivated the children with tales linking the area to the history of London .....our children stayed focussed during the whole walk and asked lots of questions!....We are very keen to discover other parts of London through Rosalind's eyes and walks again. - Clarisse D. - SW London
***** Dear Rosalind, we are asked by friends what was a highlight of our stay in London. Always at the top is our visit to the hatshop! Learning about why Green Park is called Green Park, and other lovely strolls are right up there as well. Many thanks for your company. It was wonderful to be shown about so knowledgeably. Sincerely, Louise McPherson - U.S.A.
***** Highly recommend these walks - Rosalind has a lovely friendly manner which kept us fully engrossed - We loved her eye for detail and the fact that she showed us the unusual aspects of London - we will be back for more!
