About Your Guide

Accredited to the Institute of Tourist Guiding

Qualified City of London and City of Westminster Guide

Hello, my name is Rosalind and I have been living in  London for over 30 years, ever since I graduated from the University of Edinburgh - MA Hons French.

London is such a vibrant, diverse city, and for me, it's all about stopping and looking and taking time to appreciate all that you can see.

I often jump on my bicycle to research new areas, delving into back streets and hunting out the smaller things.  I love the details on buildings, I love the lesser known characters who have lived here and made their mark, and I love 'street furniture' - those architectural details that adorn the streets.

As well as guiding, I lead school groups around Westminster Abbey.  The students range from the very youngest to pupils in the top years. I aim to give them a memorable experience especially through showing them the little things that most visitors do not notice.

London is the jewel in England's heritage crown, and there is so much to discover.  I adore it.

My aim is to open your eyes to the wonders around.  I want to share what I love and leave you enlightened and inspired to discover more.  My walks are relaxed and lively with a good dash of humour, and not for me the dry, lecture-type walk -  I positively encourage conversation and questions.

I specialise in small groups for a more personal experience.  I work with societies and clubs, and I also lead team-building walks for corporate businesses. I also have experience in guiding individuals and couples.

As a mother of 3, I will happily take family groups and cater for your needs, because I fully understand the challenges that come with walking children around large cities.
